This article discusses the role of pedagogical assistance for cadets at educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the MIA of Russia) in the formation of a professional worldview. It reveals the theoretical and methodological foundations of pedagogical assistance as a technology aimed at creating conditions for the personal and professional development of cadets at the universities of the MIA of Russia. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for successful pedagogical assistance are defined, and perspective areas for further research in the field of professional worldview formation among officers of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the IAB) are identified. The research results can be used for updating the educational programs and courses aimed at forming the cadets' professional worldview at the educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
