Naukovedcheskie issledovaniya is a peer-reviewed open access journal. The journal was established by the Institute for Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INION RAN) and is the successor to the yearbook of the same name, which was published at INION RAN from 2003 to 2021.
The purpose of the journal is to create an informational space for discussing issues of science, scientometrics, the training of scientific personnel, and state science and technology policy, as well as for sharing the experience of researchers interested in the development of science and technology.
Frequency: 4 issues per year.
The editorial board of the Naukovedcheskie issledovaniya journal invites authors to submit original articles and other materials (book or literature review, etc.) for publication in the following sections:

The journal is funded by INION RAN. There is no publication fee, and no remuneration is provided.
The journal is represented in the Russian Index for Science Citation (RISC); full-text versions of articles published in the journal are available on the websites of the Scientific Electronic Library (eLIBRARY.ru) and CyberLeninka (cyberleninka.ru).
The journal is included in the bibliographic databases of scientific publications of the Russian State Library and INION RAN.
