WHO AND WHY ARE WE PREPARING FOR POSTGRADUATE AND ADJUNCT STUDIES TODAY: PROBLEMS AND SOME SOLUTIONS

Abstract

The specifics of the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are shown, the actual problems of postgraduate and adjunct studies and the reasons for the decrease in motivation for research work, the predominance of pragmatic motivation for admission to the adjunct are identified. The results of a survey of academic supervisors at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are presented. Based on them, the relationship between the graduation of adjuncts without defending a dissertation with barriers in cooperation with scientific supervisors is shown, and the directions of comprehensive training of adjuncts for defending a dissertation and teaching activities in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation are proposed.
