Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly penetrating into different areas of human life. Currently, special attention is being paid to this phenomenon due to its popularity caused by the creation of chatbots that are able to maintain a conversation with a person, generating plausible responses to messages. The popularity of any rapidly developing technology inevitably leads to the raising of new questions and problems, which in turn suggests the need for a thorough study of the impact of AI on humans and its application practices. The rapid growth of this technology causes misconceptions about the “mental abilities” of AI, which leads to the opinion that modern programs have a “mind”. To consider this issue, a comparison of natural and artificial intelligence was carried out, and an appropriate conclusion was drawn about the degree of their similarity and capabilities. The paper focuses on the use of AI in enterprises. The economic and ethical consequences of the application, as well as the psychological factors that play a role in the interaction of humans and AI in the form of software, are considered. In addition, an assessment of the feasibility of using AI is given, and an assumption is made about the need to understand the principles of its functioning for effective interaction.
